China Piglet Weekly: Weak hog market recovery fails to lift piglet prices (week ended May 15, 2013)
Hog market's weak recovery was insufficient to perk up piglet prices during the period in review. With pork consumption usually weak during summer, the disease situation uncertain, and losses yet to be recouped, hog producers showed little interest in expanding inventories.
