Kazakhstan's wheat exporters enlarge export market
Exporters in Kazakhstan widen the geography of wheat flour exports, based on the monitoring of APK-Inform's experts.
Thus, the representatives of the exporting companies are now actively working on the Indonesian region as a buyer of mass production.
Traders said the measure of change in the exports direction was forced. The fact is that recently the purchase of goods from Uzbek and Afghan companies reduced.
According to the market participants, there is active construction of own mills in Uzbekistan, which leads to an increase in purchases of grains, but reduction of wheat flour purchases. Speaking about Afghanistan, it is worth noting that the competitor of Kazakh flour is Pakistani product. According to the exporters, Pakistani traders are essentially dumping prices, what Kazakh producers cannot afford.
To date, the price of Kazakh wheat flour, 1 grade, with the delivery to the border of Afghanistan is at US$260 per tonne. But traders add that the price is already unacceptable for them.
