South Korea approves nine more seafood exporters from Vietnam

An additional nine seafood processors from Vietnam have been granted by South Korean authorities to export its products, bringing the total number of licensed Vietnamese exporters for South Korea to 323. 

The National Fisheries Quality Assurance and Veterinary Directorate under the Ministry of Fisheries has confirmed the news to Vietnam News Agency and added that South Korea is a huge potential market.

Statistics from the ministry showed that exports of fishery and seafood products to South Korea have surged to 27 percent worth US$80 million in products in the recent years.
