Russia's railway stops imported poultry transportation
Russia's railway company RZhD has imposed a temporary ban on all transportation of imported poultry, following the Apr 27 suspension by the agriculture ministry of poultry import permits, RZhD announced Monday (May 15).
According to the RZhD transportation ban, all railway stations in Russia are forbidden, until further notice, to receive all trains with imported poultry coming from all points in the Commonwealth of Independent States, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania and all other countries.
