China's aquatic product prices surge by 17.8 percent

 

 

China's average selling price of aquatic products increased by 17.8 percent on-year to RMB15.5/kilogramme, the Ministry of Agriculture said.

 

The price rate increase also set a new high since 1997 based on transaction results from 50 Chinese aquatic wholesale markets.

 

The ministry said that the prices of freshwater fish, crustaceans and seawater shellfish growing as much as 33.68 percent, 17 percent and 14.47 percent on-year.a
