Vietnam inks seafood deal with Myanmar

 

 

Myanmar and Vietnam sealed a deal on Thursday (May 10) to develop agriculture and seafood processing in both countries.

 

The countries were represented by Ta Quang Ngoc, Minister of Fisheries from Vietnam and Maung Maung Thein, Minister of Livestock and Fisheries for Myanmar.

 

Foreign trade value between the two countries has reached US$60 million annually.

 

Vietnam's exports from its southeast Asian neighbour are mostly pharmaceutical products, fertilisers, chemical products, electrical products and garment and construction materials including timber.
