China Live Hog Weekly: Market gains traction as supplies tighten (week ended May 13, 2015)
Hog releases continued to dwindle, dragging pork carcass volume lower by 1.4%, while lifting prices by 0.8% during the period in review. Hence, hog prices increased at a faster rate of 2% with demand exceeding supply.
