China Whey Weekly: Slack demand weakens prices (week ended May 12, 2013)
Piglet inventories remained flat as hog producers were reluctant to expand inventories even though prices were stable of late. Hence, feed millers limited whey procurements while piglet feed demand remained slow. US low-protein whey prices were stable at USD1,188/tonne.
