Colombia to initiate meat exportations to China

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Colombia, Juan Camilo Restrepo Salazar, has revealed about a signed agreement with China, which will open possibilities for agricultural products and livestock exportations to the latter, including meat and poultry.

According to the minister, who accompanied President Juan Manuel Santos on his visit to Beijing and Shanghai, the visit was important to Colombia's agricultural sector to ensure the health of livestock and poultry for meat production.
