Wheat prices advance 0.4% in Chicago
Wheat gained 0.4% in Chicago to US$4.81 per bushel, recovering from a two-week low on May 13, as US farmers prepare to harvest this year's crop.
Corn and soy were little changed at US$3.7350 a bushel and US$9.65 a bushel.
US exporters reported 543,000 tonnes of corn sales to overseas buyers, including 369,000 tonnes to China that was the country's second major purchase in less than a month, the USDA said.
China, which was last a net importer of corn 14 years ago, will take delivery of 239,000 tonnes before August 31 and 130,000 tonnes in the year that starts September 1, the USDA said in a statement.
