Limited output underpins China lysine prices

Lysine prices were unchanged during the week ending May 12.

As several producers have scheduled for production halts during May for routine maintenance, lysine prices remained stable while sellers stood firm.

Price quotes of 98.5-percent lysine remained in the range of RMB8.60-8.90/kg.

Lysine market should remain stable in the near term due to limited output.
