Turkey's red meat output increases in March
Turkey has an output of 50,637 tonnes of red meat, a rise of 5% in March, according to the country's statistics authority, TurkStat, on Tuesday (May 10).
In its "Red Meat Production Statistics" for March 2011, TurkStat said that Turkey produced 42,951 tonnes of cattle meat and 167 tonnes of cow meat.
Cattle meat production also increased by 7.8% on a monthly basis.
