Ukraine's corn exports total 49,700 tonnes between May 5-10
Ukraine has resumed corn exports after the export ban was lifted by the government on May 5, with 49,700 tonnes of corn leaving the country between May 5-10.
UkrAgroConsult said at the moment exports were carried out by traders who risked booking ships before the ban was lifted, and that the pace of export was expected to intensify.
UkrAgroConsult expects corn exports to continue intensively until the end of May, with contracts for June being concluded at a slackish pace because traders believed a corn export duty would be imposed by the government.
