China Methionine Weekly: Prices soar to two year high (week ended May 12, 2014)
Spot supply of methionine tightened over the week as one shipment that was scheduled to arrive was delayed due to customs inspections. As poultry feed production increased substantially, the demand for methionine rose in tandem, driving prices to two year high.
