Belarus' farm products exports totals almost US$4 billion

In 2011, the agricultural products export of Belarus to all directions amounted US$4 billion, with the positive balance surplus worth US$1.5 billion, stated Mikhail Rusyi, Minister of Agriculture and Food of Belarus.

While speaking about the plans for the current year, the Head of the department said that the export plan exceeds the level of US$4 billion, and he thinks that the surplus will total nearly US$1.6 billion.

Rusyi resumed that the Ministry prepared balances of agricultural products supplies both within the Union State and the Common Economic Space. The required commodity volumes are available, and at the same time, the needs of the domestic market will be covered.
