China's April corn exports rise 86% on-year

 

 

In April, China was able to export 18,459 tonnes of corn, a surge of 86% from the same period of the previous year, according to the latest data provided by the General Administration of Customs on Thursday (May 10).

 

The exports in April were also far higher than 2,334 tonnes a month earlier.

 

In the first four months of this year, the country exported a total of 23,504 tonnes of corn, up 16.6% year on year.
