Perdue, together with hatchery equipment company Jamesway, has planned to boost its hatch production by 40%, beginning early next year.

Perdue has confirmed an order of 30 Jamesway Super J Multi Stage Setters, 30 Super J Hatchers and a Hatchcom III Data Retrieval system for their hatchery in Kenly, North Carolina, US.

Each Jamesway Super J Setter has an egg capacity of 90,720, and each Super J Hatcher has an egg capacity of 15,120. All Super J Setter and Hatcher machines are equipped with Jamesway's PS500 Controls.

Perdue is a poultry company in the Eastern US that supplies food and agricultural products and services to more than 50 countries.

Jamesway equipment will help Perdue's Kenly, North Carolina hatchery optimise production and operations, says the company.

Jamesway is a manufacturer of incubation systems, ventilation systems, automation and accessories for hatchery equipment.
