EU considers Brazilian beef access

The EU is considering its traceability requirements for Brazilian beef, as Brazil's beef sector requested for increased flexibility in farm certification.

The request will be considered, and increasing flexibility with different members of the EU Commission will be accessed after analysing the latest veterinary mission report for Brazil, according to the EU Animal Health Directorate.

The Directorate said minor problems found during the mission were not key failures.
