Canada's grain stocks hit record
Canada is having record volumes of grain and oilseeds following a large 2005 harvest, Statistics Canada said on Wednesday (May 10).
This marks the second consecutive year inventories have surpassed 10-year averages, according to Statscan's survey of 17,100 farms.
Stocks of soybeans, corn and durum also set new records. Durum stocks were up 24 percent from a year ago.
