China Fishmeal Weekly: Decimated sales, lower costs drag down prices (week ended May 9, 2013)
The rainy weather in the southern parts of China hampered the recovery of aquaculture, decimating the sales of fishmeal as a result. Traders readily negotiated fishmeal prices while the import costs fell considerably. The price quotes of prime grade products stayed at RMB14,500/tonnes.
