Ukr Land Farming signs MoU with China National Machinery Industry

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between Ukraine's agricultural giant Ukr Land Farming and China National Machinery Industry on May 8.

The said MoU considers building a pork production base with annual production capacity of 400,000 tonnes and a chicken production base with annual production capacity of 600,000 tonnes in Ukraine and a port with annual loading capacity of five million tonnes of grains around the Black Sea to serve the Chinese market.

This is the first that an agricultural enterprise in Ukraine targets China.

Ukr Land Farming CEO said it has not exported agricultural products to China by far and China is self-sufficient in agricultural products.

This tendency will not change greatly in the future and the company is positioned to supplement resources to meet the increasingly rising food needs of Chinese people.
