Hubbard brings in new blood for Indonesian, west Malaysian operations
Press release
Hubbard has appointed Jeff Sharp as Sales Manager for Indonesia with effect from May 1, 2007, to reinforce the company's sales and customer support in Indonesia.
Since joining Hubbard a year ago, Jeff Sharp has been successfully developing Hubbard's business activities in South Korea, Japan and more recently in Taiwan.
David Fyfe, Business Director Asia, commented that Sharp's understanding and experience of Asian markets made him an ideal person to take on new challenges and responsibilities in Hubbard's Indonesian operations.
"We wish to take this opportunity to wish Jeff every success and at the same time to express our profound thanks to Willie Blokvoort for his many years of service and hard work for Hubbard within the region. As of May 1, Willie Blokvoort will dedicate 100 percent of his time to Hendrix Genetics," added Fyfe.
Hubbard has also appointed Vipavadee Niyamacom (Vipi) as Sales Manager for west Malaysia with effect from May 1, 2007.
In its press release on the appointment, Hubbard said the move reflected Vipi's success in expanding Hubbard's Color and Industrial breeder business in Malaysia's Sabah and Sarawak states, as well as the company's Color business in west Malaysia.
Reporting directly to David Fyfe, Vipi is now tasked with further developing Hubbard's sales and customer support in west Malaysia for the Industrial breeder business.
In addition to Malaysia, Vipi is already successfully managing Hubbard's businesses in Vietnam, Sabah, Sarawak, Brunei, Singapore as well as the Color PS Sales in Thailand.
She has much experience in the poultry business, having worked for a number of years first with one of Hubbard's Integrated Grand Parent customers and then directly with Hubbard in Customer Support in Thailand.
In 2006, Hubbard placed several flocks of Hubbard Flex PS in the region and the industry's response to the initial results of these flocks at breeder, broiler and processing level has been very positive, proving that they are a competitive alternative choice to existing strains available today, the company said.
