Grain trading market for Guangzhou, China
A major grains trading market for farm products like soybean and maize will be established in Guangzhou next year.
The Guangzhou Grain Trading Centre will be one of the four major raw materials markets planned to be established in the southern China city. The purpose of such markets is to cultivate a cohesive price scheme, and increase competition in the city.
The Centre will introduce trading means such as international futures and position mortgage to build itself into a grain futures and spot market with nationwide influences, particularly in south China.
