China Broiler Weekly: Slack demand holds market soft (week ended May 8, 2012)
AA broiler market continued to stay weak as slaughterhouses were reluctant to increase slaughter volumes, while supplies increased gradually. Even though farmers remained cautious in chick procurements, hatcheries lifted prices to sustain profits over the week.
