Ukraine's oilseeds planting rate faster 2011 level

Soy plantings in Ukraine amount to 650,000 ha., which is 35% higher on-year.

As of May 3, sunflower acreage in Ukraine amounts to 2.492 million hectares which is 20% up compared with the same period last year.

According to commodity market analyst UkrAgroConsult, in 2012 MY sunflower acreage will comprise 5.7 million hectares, soy - 1.35 million hectares.
