Thai Feed Weekly: Thai soymeal output to drop 8% this year (week ended Apr 30, 2012)
Due to an anticipated bright outlook in its poultry and shrimp industries, Thailand projects an 8% increase in soymeal consumption this year. With falling domestic output, the country is expected to hike its 2012 soymeal imports to 2.2 million tonnes, from only 2 million tonnes in 2011.
