Thai Shrimp Weekly: Thai shrimp prices up on government pressure (week ended May 3, 2012)
Domestic shrimp prices had fallen dramatically since March following a huge surge in local shrimp production. Harvests during the first quarter this year, industry sources say, reached 138,000 tonnes, 15% more than during the same period last year.
