Vietnam warns of new blue ear outbreak on warm climate
Vietnam's Ministry of Agriculture recently warned that the warm and humid climate may cause new outbreaks of blue ear pig disease in the country.
Currently, the ministry said that the blue ear outbreak is under control.
In May, only two new outbreaks have been registered, compared to massive amounts of outbreaks in the
previous month.
With the warm weather, the ministry asked World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) officials to help contain the disease.
Vietnam has imported 1 million doses of vaccine against blue ear disease from China.
