Philippines tenders for soymeal, wheat for June to August 

A group of Philippine feedmillers, poultry and livestock firms will seek on Wednesday (May 9) to buy 50,000 tonnes of soymeal and 31,000 tonnes of wheat, an industry source said on Tuesday.

The source, who requested anonymity, said the group told suppliers the soymeal for July/August shipment should either come from the United States or Argentina.

There was no specific origin for the wheat for June/July shipment.

Traders were told that bidding would start at 2 p.m. (0600 GMT) on Wednesday, the source said.
