China Methionine Weekly: Lukewarm demand weakens market (week ended May 6, 2012)
Buyers continued to withhold purchases after May Day holidays in anticipation of weaker prices ahead with one local producer expanding production soon. In Europe, as most buyers have stocked sufficient inventories lately, producers reduced price quotes to EUR3.20-3.30/kg.
