Croatia's Vindija to open US$16 million poultry plant in Serbia
Croatian food and beverage group Vindija on Thursday (May 7) announced it will open a 12 million euro (US$16 million) factory for poultry products in the municipality of Plandiste in southern Serbia.
The factory, slated to open on May 8, is seen to create 160 jobs, the company said in a statement without elaborating.
Vindija group, based in Varazdin, in northern Croatia, operates dairy and poultry farms, meat processing and fodder plants and bakeries.
