Russia's Q1 meat imports up 20 percent

 

 

Russia's meat imports increased by 19.7 percent to 301,000 tonnes in the first quarter, according to the Federal Customs Service on Wednesday.

 

The figure translates to US$778.9 million, the service said.

 

Russia's poultry imports increased by 3.5 percent on-year to 236,900 tonnes while fish imports went up to 237,200 tonnes from 228,600 tonnes.
