Lysine prices flat despite stronger soymeal market in China
Lysine prices were unchanged during the week ending May 6.
Even though soymeal prices surged over 3% during the period in review, while the sales of lysine in Europe remained strong, producers had difficulties lifting prices in the domestic markets.
Average transacted price stayed at RMB7.20/kg.
The rise is soymeal prices will stimulate the buying interest for lysine in conjunction with higher feed consumption.
