China sulphate additives markets lack momentum
Cupric sulphate
Producers negotiated prices in a bid to clear mounting inventories.
As of May 4, price quotes of cupric sulphate by producers were mainly around RMB13,600/tonne.
Cupric sulphate prices are seen stable to lower.
Zinc sulphate
Producers who priced their products in the high range lowered prices in a bid to entice buyers.
China's zinc sulphate market is expected to remain stable in the coming period amid cautious mood.
Manganese sulphate
The output costs of manganese sulphate reduced amid lower ingredients costs. Producers held prices flat while demand showed little improvement.
Ex-factory price quotes for manganese sulphate in Guangxi and Hunan were in the range of RMB3,500-3,700/tonne.
Ferrous sulphate
Ferrous sulphate prices saw little changes during the period in review.
Abundant availability will hold prices of ferrous sulphate stable in conjunction with slow demand during May.
