South Africa raises 2013 corn output to 11.811 million tonnes
After reviewing deliveries to silos and the amount of the grain retained on farms, South Africa has revised its 2013 corn output to 11.811 million tonnes from 11.69 million tonnes, a government agency said.
The estimated crop for 2014 is currently pegged at 13.029 million tonnes, which would be the country's biggest harvest in three decades.
