Ukraine's Bar Poultry Factory ends 2008 in profit losses
                              


The Bar Poultry Factory in Bar, Vinnytsia region in Ukraine ended 2008 with a loss of UAH2.69 million or US$336,979.79, reports the Ukrainian News.


In 2008, the factory slashed its net revenue by 70.8 percent or UAH51.263 million compared to 2007 by UAH 21.167 million.


As Ukrainian News earlier reported, production of the Bar Poultry Factory went down by UAH38.178 million or 57.8 percent to UAH 27.881 million in 2008, compared with 2007.

 

The factory's 2007 profit reached UAH 0.044 million.

 

The Bar Poultry Factory in June 2008 decided to become an open joint-stock company into a limited liability company.

 

The enterprise produces meat semi-prepared foods, by-products, and sausages.

 

It has a production capacity of 32 tonnes of meat per day.

 

The Kompania-K limited liability company (Bar, Vinnytsia region) owns 59.431 percent of the shares in the Bar poultry factory and the Vinnytsia region's former first deputy governor Mykola Dmytrenko owns 15.379 percent.
