Agriculture Secretary Proceso Alcala said the supply of pork is currently tight because of the lack of piglets. He also noted the low supply of pork imports coming from the US and Canada. Prices of pork at the Kalentong market in Mandaluyong City stood at PHP190 per kilo, up from PHP175 to P180 per kilo last week.
