Pre-holiday buying keeps China methionine market firm
Prices of methionine moved higher during the week ending May 5.
As buyers stockpiled inventories before the May Day holidays, traders and distributors lifted prices while demand strengthened.
Price quotes for locally produced methionine remained at RMB31.50/kg.
Methionine prices will likely stay around current levels in the coming period.
