Kremenchukmiaso reports US$4.1 million net profit
Ukraine-based Kremenchukmiaso, the largest meat processing company in the Poltava region, rounded off 2010 with a net profit of UAH3.278 million (US$4.1 million).
In 2010, Kremenchukmiaso boosted its net revenue by 28.36% or UAH113.569 million (US$14.3million) to UAH514.071 million (US$64.5 million), compared with 2009.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the company finished 2009 with a net profit of UAH2.486 million (US$0.31 million), having boosted its net revenue by 7.99% or UAH29.631 million (US$3.72 million) to UAH400.502 million (US$50.3 million), compared with 2008.
In 2010, comparing with 2009, the company raised production in comparable prices by 33.79% or UAH113.337 million (US$14.2 million) to UAH448.75 million (US$56.3 million).
In 2010, Kremenchukmiaso increased production of sausages by 22.47% or 2,257 tonnes comparing with 2009, to 12,300 tonnes, and also increased the output of meat products by 71.62% or 2,852 tonnes to 6,834 tonnes.
Currently, the company produces 220 names of different sausage goods and smoked meat, and about 100 types of meat semi-finished products under the trademark of Farro.
Kremenchukmiaso sells its products in the domestic market in all regions of Ukraine.
