Ukraine's Bershad poultry plant ends 2009 with US$0.94 million profit
The Ukrainian poultry plant located in Floryne, Bershad district, Vinnytsia region finished 2009 with a net profit of UAH7.661 million (US$ 0.97 million), according to the financial report of the enterprise.
The poultry plant boosted its net revenue by 1% or UAH1.164 million (US$ 0.15 million) to UAH121.494 million (US$ 15.36 million) in 2009.
As the local news earlier reported, the Bershad poultry plant cut output by 5.9% or 631 tonnes to 10,121 tonnes in the previous year as compared with 2008.
The enterprise is an open joint-stock company founded in 1976. It specialises in poultry growing and processing of broiler meat. It also has a retail sales department.
