Taiwan Feed Group Seeks 56,000 MT US Corn In Tender

Taiwan's Members Feed Industry Group will seek 56,000 metric tons of U.S. corn in a buy tender to be held at 0700 GMT Thursday, a Taipei-based trader who received the tender notice said.

Last Tuesday, MFIG bought 56,000 tons of U.S. No. 2 yellow corn from trading house Mitsui at $181.00 a ton for 18,000 tons, and at 151.44 U.S. cents a bushel for another 38,000 tons, both cost-and-freight basis.
