China Broiler Weekly: Slaughterhouses limit production, broiler prices stay weak (week ended May 3, 2012)
Slaughterhouses continued to limit broiler procurements. Hence, prices of broiler stayed soft over the week even as supplies were low. Broiler farmers were therefore cautious in expanding inventories, resulting in lower prices of day-old chicks.
