Saudi Arabia may fail in reducing poultry import
 

 

As the country spends record amounts on purchases from Brazil in the first quarter of this year, Saudi Arabia's efforts to curb rising poultry imports are showing little sign of success.

 

Brazilian customs data show a massive 175,000 tonnes of chicken were exported to Saudi Arabia in the January-March period - up 28% on last year.
