China Piglet Weekly: Sharp falls in prices (week ended Apr 30, 2014)
Although hog markets showed signs of recovering, with prices stabilising of picking up, the outlook for the sector remained unclear. Hog farmers were therefore reluctant to increase piglet inventories, resulting in significant falls in piglet prices in several regions.
