China Live Hog Weekly: Markets show weak recovery signs (week ended Apr 30, 2014)
Despite the approaching of May Day holidays, prices of hog in southern provinces of China continued to slide amid slack pork demand. In other regions, sate pork procurements and improving demand helped to perk up hog prices over the previous week, albeit at a slow pace.
