China Methionine Weekly: Bleak poultry market outlook holds methionine prices soft (week ended Apr 25, 2013)
Methionine market remained weak even though price falls were limited. Feed millers were reluctant to stockpile inventories while the outlook of the poultry markets looked bleak. In Europe, price quotes for Q2 deliveries remained in the range of EUR3-3.10/kg, while major customers clinched deals at RMB2.95-3/kg.
