China's meat, poultry and egg prices stable

The average retail price for lean pork in 36 medium and large Chinese cities dropped by 0.48 percent from the week of April 14th to April 18th to the week from April 21st to April 25th, according to the monitoring results released by the National Development and Reform Commission.

The average prices for beef, mutton and eggs rose by 0.12 percent, 0.12 percent and 0.29 percent week-on-week respectively to RMB16.6/500g, RMB17.04/500g and RMB3.42/500g in the week, with the chicken price unchanged at RMB7.84/500g.
