USDA says 210,000 tonnes soybeans sold to Mexico
The US Department of Agriculture announced Monday (Apr 30) private export sales of 210,000 tonnes of US soybeans for delivery to Mexico.
The USDA said that of that total, 30,000 tonnes are for delivery in the 2006/07 marketing year and 180,000 tonnes are for delivery in the 2007/08 marketing year.
The soybean marketing year begins Sep 1.
US exporters are required to report to the USDA sales of 100,000 tonnes or more of soybeans made in the same day to the same destination by 3:00 pm EDT the next business day, according to the USDA.
