Choline chloride producers cut prices in China to entice buyers
Prices dropped further during the period in review.
Even though the demand from the aquaculture sector was strong, overall sales of choline chloride remained below expectation. Producers who were eager to move sales cut prices while the costs of raw ingredients softened of late.
Ex-factory prices of 50-percent content choline chloride in Shandong slid to RMB4,900-5,000/tonne.
Choline chloride producers will be cautious in negotiating prices in the coming period as the output costs are less likely to reduce further.
