US grain futures up on the CBOT
US grains futures were mostly higher last Thursday (Apr 29) on the CBOT as wheat for July delivery climbed US$0.085 to US$4.965 per bushel and July corn was up US$0.0825 to US$3.7225 per bushel.
July soy rose US$0.10 to US$10.035 per bushel and July oats were flat at US$2.0825 per bushel.
Meanwhile, beef futures went up and pork was flat to higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
June live cattle went up by US$0.043 to US$0.9385 per pound; August feeder cattle gained US$0.048 to US$1.16 per pound; June lean hogs were flat at US$0.8460 per pound; and May pork bellies climbed US$0.030 to US$0.9750 per pound.
